What Is GEMS?

GEMS stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior. GEMS welcomes girls of all backgrounds into a safe and nurturing environment to learn and grow as they discover who God created them to be. Clubs are offered in local churches and Christian organizations throughout the U.S. and Canada and 15 other countries.

During the months of September through May, they meet the first and third Tuesday of each month from 6 – 8:00 PM.  They do crafts, Bible study, earn badges, go on outings, and have lots of fun.

CIA Boys Club

Christ In Action (CIA) is a CCC Youth group for boys in the first through eighth grade. We’ve started in the Fall and will go through May. Every first and third Tuesday of the month, from 6-8:00 PM.   They will explore growing up with the Bible through activities that keep their minds, bodies, and spirits active, while giving them a solid foundation in the faith.

Youth Fellowship

Tailored for specifically for teens, during the school year we have a weekly Sunday evening program, beginning at 6PM, for both Junior High and Senior High students.

Students are encouraged to bring their friends to come hangout, do homework, play a variety of games (including video and table games), listen to music, eat, talk, etc.  There are also various events such as service projects, overnight lock-ins, trips, etc. offered throughout the year.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Our church strives to bring families together to learn about God’s love for us all. Our Vacation Bible School program is one of Christ’s Community Church’s greatest yearly outreach programs to our community. This program continues for over 25 years.  Every summer, families make our church their home for vacation Bible School. We offer a five-day program over one week, that meets in the evenings. We begin with a family dinner at 5 PM. And then at 6 PM the fun begins! Children sing, play, learn, and are discipled together. If you have children from Kindergarten through 6th grade, you will want to enroll them VBS at CCC.  Keep an eye out for next year’s VBS dates. They vary each year, buy usually occur in either July or August.
