To know and experience God in a Christian community of love and faith.
Christ's Community Church exists to worship and glorify God, to bring people into a relationship with Jesus and His church, to develop them to Christ-like maturity, and to equip them to serve the church and the world.
Christ's Community Church is part of the Christian Reformed Church denomination. For more information of the theological doctrine of the Christian Reformed Church, follow this link: The Christian Reformed Church
We exist to offer God's people the opportunity to worship and glorify God together.
A Relationship with Jesus
We exist to reach people who are facing a Christless eternity. We are encouraged to seek out the unchurched just as the Holy Spirit has sought us out, and look for opportunities to share Christ's love.
A Relationship with the Church
We exist as the body of Christ to build a community characterized by interdependence, prayer, and love.
Development of Faith
We exist to develop in believers an active and mature faith, to become like Christ in thoughts, words and actions, through teaching, discipleship and community.
Serve the World
We exist to help believers discover who God made us to be and how to use that in his service.
Our Core Values - a design for our unity:
All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that all God's people may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Romans 12:10
Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Psalm 100:2
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Phillipians 4:6
...grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.. 2 Peter 3:18
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19-20
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10.
May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
spoken by Jesus in John 17:2
