What to Expect
Christ's Community Church offers a casual atmosphere to worship in. You will find people wearing everything from shorts and t-shirts to jeans, shirts, slacks, and women in dresses. Suits and ties, although not looking out of place, are rarely seen. The heart of the worshiper is what truly matters.
Our music has a contemporary edge, with our 4 - 5 piece worship band with 2 to 4 singers. The music occasionally includes a contemporized or traditional hymn. You will hear music from such artists as Chris Tomlin, Matt Redmon, Bethel Music, Brian Johnson, Jeremy Riddle, Paul Baloche, and many others in the contemporary worship music genre. We make all attempts to keep our music in a good volume range that is not too loud.
The pastor's messages are insightful, include humor and great illustrations, and have take-away points to instill life change.
We start on time! At 10 am sharp, the worship service begins. So we recommend you arrive by 9:45 to insure parking and getting to your seat on time. Speaking of parking, there is ample parking on the street parking available, and our church has a parking lot across the street on Calaroga Ave. Our worship services last about one hour 15 minutes.
Each service includes a time for tithes and offering to help support the ministries of the church. Our offering is primarily for members of the church. If the Lord places upon your heart as a guest to make an offering, please go ahead and do so. Otherwise we don't expect our guests to give financially.
We respect your privacy!
If you decide to visit our worship service, don't worry, we won't embarrass you by pointing you out, making you stand up, or raising your hand to announce yourself during the service. We respect your privacy and your desire to worship God and learn more about what it means to follow Jesus Christ - without being singled out.
